Ball Pit Care & Washing Instructions
Ball Pit Care and Washing Instructions:
- Wash separately in the washing machine on a gentle cycle without bleach.
- Use a mild detergent.
- Hang to dry (if tumble dry is necessary only use a low heat dryer setting). However, we recommend hang drying to avoid any shrinking.
- Avoid drying in the sun.
- If you find a long or loose thread, cut it with scissors. Never pull the thread.
Frequently Asked Care Questions:
Can I wash the ball pit?
The ball pit fabric cover is removable and washable. We recommend hand-washing the fabric or machine-washing only on a delicate or gentle cycle. Wash cold by itself and hang dry to prevent shrinking. (We do not recommend using a dryer setting on the fabric).
The foam is not washable. To protect your foam, we suggest buying Goodnites Pads and zipping them between the fabric and foam of the base, or any parts you think might need extra protection from spills.
For small spills or stains, we recommend spot cleaning with a moist cloth or a carpet/upholstery cleaner. Any household carpet and upholstery cleaner will do the job.
How do I put the cover back on the ball pit?
There are two ball pit covers – the fabric sides covering and the bottom round covering. Gently stretch the fabric over each piece. Each zipper will need to lie on the outermost edge before connecting together. Connect the zipper of the bottom and the side to assemble the ball pit.
Can I use the ball pit outside?
The ball pit is lightweight and easily moveable from room to room. Feel free to bring it outside to dry outdoor places like the patio or deck, but don't leave it there. Direct outdoor sunlight may fade the fabric colors, and the ball pit isn't waterproof. We recommend placing the ball pit on a towel or blanket, giving it a barrier to the ground to prevent any extra cleaning of the bottom fabric.
